Personality:
Val is the boldest eventer we have had in a very long time. She would jump anything you put in front of her, including paddock and arena fences, so she has to be watched pretty closely when she's outside. She had an absolutely wonderful career, but had a little bit of trouble with a suspensory injury in her right foreleg, that never quite healed correctly, so we felt it best to retire her at the age of 15. Since then, she's made a wonderful broodmare, and passes her boldness on to her offspring.
